this was perfect for me when it came to curl definition along with great results for a twistout. My hair was never dry with this product, it never flaked and my hair never got hard or brittle it's perfect for wash-n-gos and twistouts.
It took me a few tries to get this product to work for me. I was using it in all the wrong ways, when I decided to use it on my hair while it was wet, I started getting better results. It defined my curls and was amazing on my twistouts but I fell in love with the smell. One thing I can say is that it lacks shine, but paired with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, it's great.. I use it as a sealant or just to make my hair smell good.
This product is hands down my favorite when it comes to removing buildup without making my hair feel "too clean" and ending up dry. It also is another Shea Moisture product that smells great, although I don't recommend it for everyday use, it can be over drying.
EVOO. I love the shine that it gives my hair and it is amazing at reducing frizz, I think Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a staple in almost every natural's cabinet. It's that great! Either as a sealant or for shine, it always gets the job done, my only problem is the smell :( it smells like I should be cooking. To avoid that smell I usually just add some of the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing cream to offset the smell.
Avocado butter has been my go-to moisturizer for a while, I just love the way it smells and how my hair feels when I'm using it. Plus the fact that it is 100% all natural doesn't hurt either.
