I washed it :)

I bought a new bow the other day and just HAD to wear it, plus my hair wasn't smelling it's best so I decided to shampoo. I used my regular Shea Moisture Moisture Retention shampoo because I didn't have anything else to use and everything was closed for the holiday. Before shampooing I did do a Sea Breeze Scalp Treatment to combat the dandruff, and followed by a hot oil treatment for moisture.

I used:

  • Coconut Oil
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Jojoba Oil
  • Almond Oil
  • Honey
I heated it in the microwave for about 45 seconds, applied it generously and then put a shower cap on and continued cleaning. One thing I can definitely say is that I miss being a curly girl and that my hair cut looks marvelous in it's curled state. I can't remember the last time it was shaped so well and my ends look great! I'm seeing well defined curls in places that I didn't know could curl like that. I guess that trim was more needed than I thought. I plan on putting in another semi-long term protective style once the new year comes, and getting another trim in March on my birthday. Hopefully the front is longer and my bob will be in full swing and curls in Afrolicious glory :)
